Federico Cortese conducts the season’s first Aspen Philharmonic Orchestra concert. Turkish-American violinist Zeynep Alpan, this year’s AMFS Dorothy DeLay Prize Winner, whose Alice Tully Hall performance was praised for having “all the al fresco joy of a village wedding," appears in Mozart’s sparkling and witty Fourth Concerto. Dvořák once said, “Mozart is sunshine,” a truth that is captured in this work.

KHACHATURIAN: Selections from Masquerade

DVOŘÁK: Symphony No. 7 in D minor, B. 141, op. 70
