Pianist Madeline Slettedahl is an enthusiastic collaborator, recitalist, and highly sought-after operatic coach. A current member of the Houston Grand Opera music staff, additional appointments include Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, Wolf Trap Opera, and Lyric Opera of Chicago, where she received her training as part of the Patrick G. and Shirley W. Ryan Opera Center. Recent recital appearances with today’s leading operatic singers include Carnegie Hall’s Citywide concert series, the Dame Myra Hess Memorial Concerts, the Lieder Lounge at the Collaborative Arts Institute of Chicago, Green Lake Festival of Music, the Cincinnati Song Initiative’s recital series, Denver Friends of Chamber Music, Bellingham Festival of Music, and TwickenhamFest. She made her recording debut in 2022 with a highly acclaimed, Billboard-charting album of song repertoire with tenor Eric Ferring, for Lexicon Records. Upcoming recording projects include an album of song and chamber music, also with Eric Ferring, and an album of original arrangements with baritone Will Liverman.
