During the frank discussions among the AMFS staff members, alumni, artist-faculty members, and Board members who participated in the workshops that led to our Statement of Commitment, all involved came to the realization that diversity and inclusion go hand in hand. If we are to achieve greater equity, or fairness, as an organization and a field, we must be more inviting of criticism.
In addition to the seven action items listed in the Statement of Commitment, the Aspen Music Festival and School committed itself to being more open to input from all stakeholders. We welcome your insights, thoughts, and suggestions.
