Frequent collaborators and in-demand soloists Alisa Weilerstein, cello, and Inon Barnatan, piano, present a gorgeous evening of Beethoven Cello Sonatas, replacing the originally scheduled recital by Robert McDuffie and Robert Spano.

American cellist Ms. Weilerstein, “arguably Yo-Yo Ma’s heiress apparent as sovereign of the American cello” (New York), has long been recognized for her distinctive and important musical voice. A regular soloist with the world's foremost orchestras, Mr. Barnatan is celebrated for his poetic sensibility, musical intelligence, and consummate artistry. Together, these two exceptional artists share a unique chemistry that sheds new light on Beethoven's works for cello and piano.

Kick off the Winter Music series with this musical treat!

(The recital by Robert McDuffie and Robert Spano will be rescheduled for a later date.)
