Hurst Chair’s Circle 2021 Ticketing

Hurst Chair’s Circle 2021

As always, each HCC member has their choice of two seats at AMFS events and may keep their same seats for the entire season. Due to public health guidelines, there are some changes this year in both seating and ticketing. These changes are outlined below.

Please especially note this year's change from a weekly opt-out system to a weekly opt-in system for ticketing. In order to minimize empty seats for performers and hopeful concert-goers, HCC members will be asked each week to confirm the concerts they will attend. Without this confirmation, HCC seats will be released for sale. See full details below under “Ticketing.”

Seating:

  • AMFS venues will have both vaccinated and distanced sections for seating. Vaccinated sections are seated without distance.
  • The vaccinated sections are 100, 200, 600, and 800.
  • There is a 12-foot radius from the stage for safety that eliminates some of the front rows in all venues.

Ticketing:

  • All tickets will be issued as e-tickets.
  • New: HCC members will opt-in each week during the summer for the concerts they will attend. An email will be sent each Wednesday, starting June 23, asking about the next week’s concerts Monday-Sunday. Please respond letting us know what you will and will not attend by Friday at noon. If we do not hear from you by that time, we will release your seats so that other hopeful concert-goers may enjoy the events.
  • Each week you will have the opportunity to select reserved seats inside the Tent or instead reserve Lawn general admission tickets to Fridays or Sundays. If you choose Lawn GA tickets, your inside seats will be released.
  • Please note that, for 2021, HCC seats are not transferable.

Additional Tickets:

  • Additional tickets may not be available for high-demand events as in years past. We encourage you to purchase any additional tickets you need as early as possible.

Special Events:

  • There are four special events to which HCC members have held seats and free tickets.
    • July 2: Aspen Festival Orchestra, Beethoven's Ninth Symphony
    • July 27: A Recital with Pianist Daniil Trifonov in the Tent
    • August 17: A Recital with the Zukerman Trio in the Tent
  • There is one special event that is a collaboration with Theatre Aspen on August 2 and 3: The Sweetest Sounds: The Music of Richard Rodgers. HCC seats are being held for this event for purchased. Box office staff will be in touch to see if you wish to purchase or release these seats.

Other:

  • Please note HCC seats are not held at dress rehearsals or the free, ticketed events at the Tent (July 4th concert and composition program readings). Free tickets are available to you for these events upon request.
  • We deeply appreciate any seats you are able to release pre-season and throughout the summer for events you cannot attend. Releasing these seats will help others enjoy the music in this very special season and ensure performers have a robust audience for their wonderful performances.
