Ms. Schultz has made critically-acclaimed performances as Sophie (Der Rosenkavalier) at the Salzburger Festspiele, Pamina (Die Zauberflöte) at the Metropolitan Opera, Contessa Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro) at Glyndebourne Festival Opera, and Liù (Turandot) at the Wiener Staatsoper, alongside key appearances on the concert platform with the Cleveland Orchestra and Franz Welser-Möst, the Philharmonia Orchestra and Esa-Pekka Salonen, and at the 2020 Last Night of the Proms. This season includes debuts as Anne Trulove (The Rake’s Progress) at the Met and Adina (L’elisir d’amore) at Opéra de Bordeaux, as well as a return to the Bayerische Staatsoper as Agathe (Der Freischütz), and performances as Contessa Almaviva in Munich and New York. In concert, she opens the seasons of both the Danish National Symphony Orchestra in Mahler songs under Fabio Luisi and the Los Angeles Philharmonic in Strauss’s Four Last Songs under Gustavo Dudamel, and takes her acclaimed recital program of all-female composers to the Boulez Saal, Kölner Philharmonie, and on a North American tour with pianist Jonathan Ware.
