Endowment Support

The AMFS is dedicated to attracting the highest-quality students by offering financial assistance, the world’s best teachers, innovative programs, and creative programming. Gifts to the endowment, with these goals in mind, will ensure that the AMFS continues as the preeminent summer institution of classical music education, performances, and presentations.

Student Support

Financial aid is the most powerful tool in recruiting the world’s best students. Our aim is to increase funding for full and partial scholarships such that tuition assistance ultimately will be provided for 90 percent of students each summer, up from 75 percent currently.  Donors may contribute to existing funds or create new funds to honor AMFS artist-faculty members.

For more information on how you can contribute to these funds, or how you can establish a scholarship, please contact Mi Ryung Song, Vice President for Advancement, at 970 205 5060 or msong@aspenmusic.org.

Artist-Faculty Recognition

Several funds have been created to honor Artist-Faculty members, including instrumental chair positions and student aid funds named in honor of our talented teachers. Donors may contribute to existing funds or create new funds to honor AMFS artist-faculty members.

The Aspen Music Festival and School thanks those listed below for their ardent support of our endowment and for their role in ensuring a bright future for the organization. The AMFS also strives to secure additional endowed funding for existing and new programs, thereby guaranteeing the resources necessary to both maintain and achieve newfound excellence.

Festival Programming Support

We will add funding for innovative programming and special projects to keep the AMFS at the forefront of our field. We will also solidify funding for our most beloved offerings and increase funds for more frequent commissioning of new music.

Your contribution of any amount will help us secure a world-class festival and school for years to come. For more information on the AMFS Endowment and how you can leave a legacy with your own philanthropic fund, please contact:
