Erin Pratt
Erin C. Pratt is a music theorist and historian specializing in German song from the eighteenth century to the present. She earned her PhD in musicology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2025 and works as an instructor of music theory at Western Carolina University. Her research on German strophic songs has been supported by fellowships from the Berlin Program of the German Studies Association and the Klassik Stiftung Weimar. An active choral vocalist and program annotator, she is currently based in Asheville, NC. This is her second season as assistant program book editor for AMFS.
