Ellen dePasquale, violinist, has been acclaimed for her refined musicianship and is a regular guest at leading music festivals throughout the U.S. and Europe, as well as an active recitalist and chamber music collaborator. From 1996-99 she served as concertmaster of the Florida Orchestra before being appointed associate concertmaster of the Cleveland Orchestra in 1999, a position she held until 2007. During her tenure in Cleveland, she was a frequent soloist with the orchestra and a member of the Cleveland Orchestra Piano Trio. Ms. dePasquale is a frequent guest concertmaster with orchestras in the U.S. and Canada, and most recently held the position of acting associate concertmaster of the Saint Louis Symphony. She studied at the Curtis Institute of Music and Indiana University and has been a member of the faculties of the Cleveland Institute of Music, Encore School for Strings, Temple University, National Orchestral Institute, and the University of South Florida.
