TELEMANN Concerto for 4 Violins No. 2 in D major, TWV 40:202
SCHUMANN/DEBUSSY Six Studies in Canon Form, op. 56
DVOŘÁK Piano Quintet No. 1 in A major, op. 5

AMFS artist-faculty, all top musicians from renowned orchestras, opera companies, and conservatories, come together to play their favorite chamber music works. Always a joyful and creative 75 minutes of music-making.

Dvorak’s stunningly lyrical piano quintet is the centerpiece of this richly varied program. Starting things off is a short work by Swedish composer Britta Brystrom, whose sparsely elegant compositions have been compared with a Japanese garden. Two works for four violins will showcase faculty string players, and a piece by Schumann arranged by Debussy fuses Romantic and impressionistic styles.

Tickets will remain on hold for 30 minutes.
