PAUL DOOLEY: The Conductor's Spellbook
A lively, narrated concert designed especially for young audiences, The Conductor’s Spellbook invites children into a magical, mystical world of classical music! The story follows a young boy named Tony Stradivarius, who discovers a spellbook revealing the art of conducting during a field trip to the symphony. Along the way, audiences of all ages are introduced to the instruments of the orchestra, try their hand at conducting (and casting musical spells!), and experience the excitement of a live performance.
The concert begins at 10AM in the Music Tent and runs approximately 40 minutes. Come early or stay after for pre- and post-concert activities on the David Karetsky Music Lawn (running 9:15–11:15am).
Easy parking for families in the Michael Klein Music Tent/Harris Concert Hall lot.
