Hire a Musician

Thank you for your interest in the Hire A Musician program! The AMFS summer season runs from July 1-August 23, 2026. Hire A Musician is intended for private events requesting background music. Booking requests for Hire A Musician should be received at least one week in advance, otherwise, we are unable to guarantee that musicians will be available. All bookings and payment will be handled by the Hire a Musician office. Please refer to the Hire A Musician FAQ for rates, booking an event, and more.

If you are a community partner, local entity, and/or business looking to inquire about a recurring series with our musicians, please reach out to us directly at hireamusician@aspenmusic.org.

If your event is outside of the summer season (March 1 - July 1, 2026), please refer to the Local Musicians Available for Performing and Teaching listing below. For more information about the program, please contact us directly. We look forward to providing musicians for your event this summer!
