Nadine Asin enjoys a distinguished and multifaceted career as a performer and educator, based in Miami, Florida. She serves as principal flutist of the Palm Beach Symphony and has held the same position with the Florida Grand Opera Orchestra. A highly sought-after artist, she has appeared with many of the nation’s leading ensembles and series, including the Metropolitan Opera, the New York Philharmonic, the Great Performers Series of Lincoln Center, the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, Da Camera Society of Houston, the All-Star Orchestra, the Seattle Chamber Music Society, and has been featured on NPR’s Performance Today.
Deeply committed to education, Ms. Asin regularly presents masterclasses at leading institutions, including Lynn University, the New World Symphony, the New World School of the Arts, and the University of Miami. She is a member of the adjunct faculty at The Juilliard School and the Bard College Conservatory, where she also coaches fellows of the TON Orchestra.
A longtime artist-faculty member of the Aspen Music Festival and School, where she has also served on the Board, Ms. Asin has contributed broadly to the field through additional leadership roles with Chamber Music America and Concert Artists Guild. She is a graduate of The Juilliard School, where she studied with Julius Baker.
