Aspen Music Festival and School President and CEO Alan Fletcher Elected to American Academy of Arts and Sciences

Aspen, CO — The Aspen Music Festival and School (AMFS) is proud to announce that President and CEO Alan Fletcher has been elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, one of the nation’s most prestigious honorary societies. Fletcher joins the Academy’s newly announced Class of 2025, which includes luminaries such as Anderson Cooper, Danny Glover, and Gloria Steinem.

Founded in 1780, the Academy has honored excellence and convened leaders from across disciplines and divides to examine new ideas, address issues of importance, and work together “to advance the interest, honor, dignity, and happiness of a free, independent, and virtuous people.” Read more about the Academy of Arts and Sciences here.

Fletcher was selected for induction in the category of Scientific, Cultural, and Nonprofit Leadership, recognizing his contributions to the arts and cultural life of the nation through his work with the Aspen Music Festival and School and beyond.
