Important Program Information
- Applicants should submit the financial aid form for access to all funding opportunities.
- VIDEO audition recordings are required.
- Applicants interested in the Aspen Chamber Symphony (ACS) principal harp fellowship must submit the additional required excerpts.
- Students under the age of 18 do not play in orchestra but may take private lessons and participate in chamber music.
Teaching Faculty

STANDARD HARP REPERTOIRE
All harp applicants must submit the standard repertoire in ONE INDIVIDUAL VIDEO TRACK. No editing or stopping the recording between excerpts.
- HANDEL: Concerto in B flat Major, op, 4, No. 6, any edition, beginning to first repeat
- BERLIOZ: Symphony Fantastique, first page
- BRITTEN: Cadenza from Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra
- TCHAIKOVSKY: Cadenza from Swan Lake
- RAVEL: Introduction and Allegro, rehearsal 2-3, and cadenza
- STRAUSS: Death and Transfiguration, rehearsal A-D

As of September 2025, the ACS principal harp fellowship position is not open for 2026. However, applicants are encouraged to submit materials for consideration in the event the position becomes available.
